We’ve probably all experienced the over-keen Christian awkwardly trying to share their faith. Perhaps you were on the receiving end of it, or perhaps it’s something you did to others. Either way, the emotional scarring we can experience from “evangelism-gone-wrong” can result in us deciding to leave faith-sharing to the keenies and the extroverts!

Is it possible that how we think evangelism works is wrong? Is it possible that the ways we’ve seen people “do evangelism” is different to how Jesus had planned it? As I’ve thought this through and read through the Bible’s teaching on this scary topic, I’ve been so relieved to discover that Jesus isn’t calling us to the hard-sell of Christianity!

Instead, Jesus is calling us to fulfil His Great Commission to go and make disciples through His Great Commandment to Love – to love people on purpose; to LOVE PEOPLE TOWARDS JESUS.

This book contains simple bible truths about this, alongside lots of stories of atheists, agnostics and sceptics I’ve seen come to faith in Jesus as Christians have loved them towards Him. It’s an easy read – short, punchy chapters all helping us to see Jesus’ heart for people and His desire to draw them to Him through His followers.

Jesus is passionate about the people He’s placed around you and me. This book will help us see His purpose in placing them there, and will look at the ways we all can, over time, see many people come to faith in Him.
